Pikey Peak Trekking

Pikey Peak Trekking, the newly opened trekking route in lower Solukhumbu region. Due to its amazing landscapes and unobstructed sunrise view over the Himalayan range, the trek is gaining its popularity day by day.

As being one of the tallest hills in the Solu region, the Pikey peak(4065 m) offers the breathtaking spectacular views of many eight-thousanders including the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga, Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse, Mount Manaslu and Mount Annapurna.

The Pikey Peak is also regarded as one of the holy place for the Sherpa Community. During the festival season in August cleansing rituals at the sacred lakes are performed with several important Shamans. Along with the spectacular vistas, the trek is also famous for Rhododendron flower, Magnolia and wild orchids. It’s not only about the glorious sunrise and sunset from the top, the trekker also gets the opportunity to explore one of the ancient Buddhist Monastery of Thupten Chholing on the way.
